KARLA ESTRADA – The Face 2 Face host reacted to the hilarious comment of a netizen about her size.
It was on Tuesday, April 11, 2023, when she shared that the “Barangay Hall On-Air” will start airing on May 1 and can be watched on various platforms aside from TV5.
The format of Face 2 Face is to resolve conflicts between neighbors, friends, and relatives that have not been resolved by the barangay. The host mediates between the parties, sometimes even stopping them from physically fighting.
A netizen commented on Karla’s post, saying that Karla is not only a great host, but also a great referee. “Ms. Karla is not only a good host but can also be a referee when two families get into a fight…sa laki ni Ms Karla Ang bumangga titilapon sa gitna Ng kalsada… [peace sign emoji]”
The netizen further commented that no one would dare mess with Karla because of her size. The mother of Daniel Padilla did not take offense or get upset with the comment, but instead responded, “Great idea [laughing emoji].”
Meanwhile, Amy Perez was the original host of Face to Face, and the show gained popularity due to her skills as an arbitrator between conflicting parties. There were rumors that Amy was offered the hosting job for the reformatted Face 2 Face, but she clarified that these were not true and that she thought it would be better to give the opportunity to someone else, as she had already done the job from 2010 to 2013.
