JODI STA. MARIA – The actress has finally reacted on her viral kissing with Joshua Garcia.
Last month, the upcoming series “Unbreak My Heart” shocked fans and netizens with a steamy kissing scene between lead actors Jodi Sta. Maria and Joshua Garcia. However, in a recent interview, Sta. Maria finally broke her silence and addressed the unexpected scene. She acknowledged that people were surprised by their intimate moment, given the 20-year age gap between her and Garcia. Nevertheless, the award-winning actress praised Garcia for delivering what was required of him for the scene.
Jodi Sta. Maria also confirmed that they underwent a s*ns*ality workshop before filming the scene in Switzerland. She emphasized the importance of establishing boundaries and trust between actors to avoid crossing lines during intimate scenes. “Magiging block mo ‘yun when it comes to getting into the scene and character,” she said.
The teaser trailer for the series shows Garcia welcoming Sta. Maria to Switzerland, where they fall in love. However, their relationship becomes complicated when Garcia meets Gabbi Garcia, who calls him her “knight in shining armor.” The situation becomes even more complex when Richard Yap’s mysterious character seemingly orders the abduction of Sta. Maria.
The series, which features scenes filmed in Europe, is set to air on GMA this year and will stream in 15 territories outside of the Philippines on Viu. This collaboration between ABS-CBN and GMA follows their groundbreaking partnership last year when the Kapuso network started airing Star Cinema films.
