Son of Flo Rida in critical condition after falling from the fifth floor of an apartment building
ZOHAR DILLARD – The six-years-old son of American rapper Flo Rida is in critical condition after falling from the fifth floor of an apartment building.
The incident has left the child with severe injuries, including fractures in his pelvis and left foot, a lacerated liver, collapsed lungs, and internal bleeding. According to various sources, Zohar was born with a rare neurological condition called hydrocephalus, which causes an abnormal accumulation of cerebrospinal fluid in the brain’s cavities, leading to pressure on the brain.
Although Flo Rida, whose real name is Tamar Trace Dillard, has not commented publicly on his son’s condition, the child’s mother, Alexis Adams, has filed a lawsuit against the owners and administrators of the apartment building, as well as other defendants, claiming that the windows of the said apartment were of hazardous condition.
Steven Haddad, Adams’ attorney, is seeking a jury trial, alleging that the building managers were negligent, careless, and reckless in producing foreseeable and dangerous conditions. The lawsuit claims that the windows had incorrectly sized guards, which breached their duty of care, especially given that they were on the fifth story.
As a single mother of a special-needs child, Adams is devastated and struggling to come to terms with the fact that her son has suffered severe injuries due to others’ willful negligence in failing to take necessary safety precautions. She is also seeking unspecified damages as a result of the accident, as well as reimbursement for her son’s medical expenses and attorney’s fees.
