Nadine Lustre: “I learned that being jealous could also come from insecurity.”
NADINE LUSTRE – The actress and content creator recently spoke about dealing with jealousy in relationships.
Local lifestyle magazine Cosmopolitan Philippines released a video on its YouTube channel last March 28, 2023 wherein she gave love advice on dating, long distance relationships, and more.
In the said video, the lifestyle magazine reader asked the actress to give love advice to a “selosa” or someone who easily gets jealous.
The actress admitted in an interview that being a jealous partner is a sign of “insecurity”. She also noted that while trust is crucial in keeping a relationship alive, trust is something that is built with communication and a “kind of connection” with a partner.

Nadine also spoke about finding the need to maintain communication with a partner at all times. According to her, it helps in building trust in a relationship.
“I guess my advice is to really work on [your] trust in each other. And make sure that you’re open to one another if there’s something that’s making you uncomfortable, tell him right away,” Nadine said. “Don’t wait, [almost to the point of] bottling up and exploding inside of you. Just always, always talk to him.”
While she didn’t reveal when she started dating Christophe, Nadine appeared to have gone public with him after sharing a photo of the two of them together on her Instagram account last January 2022.
The actress is currently in a relationship with her boyfriend Christophe Bariou, who is a Filipino-French businessman.
Nadine was previously in a relationship with James Reid. According to a report on Inquirer, James has been making headlines after seemingly confirming his romance with Yassi Pressman’s sister Issa Pressman.
