Here’s the reaction of the ex-boyfriend of Boobay after his recent health scare
KENT JUAN RESQUIR – The ex-boyfriend of Norman Balbuena, also known as “Boobay,” is worried about the comedian’s health condition after what happened to him in an episode of “Fast Talk with Boy Abunda.”
During the show, while Tito Boy was asking Boobay some questions, he suddenly became unresponsive and seemed to hang. The TV host quickly assisted him and asked for a commercial break.
After 6 minutes, the comedian returned to the show and stated that he is used to these kinds of episodes in his life since recovering from a stroke in 2016. On the Friday episode of his talk show, Tito Boy provided an update about Boobay, saying he’s already okay and just experienced a “silent seizure.”
His ex-boyfriend Kent Juan Resquir went to Facebook wherein he shared a similar episode when they were still together. According to him, he noticed something strange was happening to Boobay while they were on vacation in El Nido, Palawan.
Boobay would suddenly stop and stare blankly into space for a few seconds before snapping back to reality and trying to continue the conversation as if nothing had happened. Kent was concerned and advised his ex-partner to consult a doctor, but Boobay refused, claiming that he was just tired from working.
Despite their breakup, Kent still cares for Boobay’s well-being and acts as his manager when it comes to his health. He encourages Boobay to pay attention to his body and seek medical help when something doesn’t feel right. Kent acknowledges that Boobay is going through a tough time and encourages him to be kind to himself as he navigates life’s challenges.
