KIM HYUN-JOONG – The famous South Korean actor known for his role in the widely popular drama series “Boys Over Flowers,” made an appearance on the Filipino show “It’s Showtime” on Friday.

During the show, Kim shared his reasons for continuously returning to the Philippines. According to Ryan Bang, who translated for Kim, the actor was overwhelmed during his first visit to the country and has since wanted to come back often.

Kim wishes to hold concerts in malls to have the chance to meet his Filipino fans. He also invited viewers of the show to attend his upcoming concert as part of his “The End of a Dream” world tour, taking place on April 28 at 7 p.m. in Pasig City’s MetroTent.

Meanwhile, Kim Hyun-joong is a South Korean actor, singer, and songwriter. He is a former member of the boy band SS501 and has played roles in several Korean dramas, including Boys Over Flowers, a 2009 South Korean television series that tells the story of a working-class girl who gets tangled up in the lives of a group of wealthy young men in her elite high school.

In the series, Kim Hyun-joong plays the role of Yoon Ji-hu, a member of the F4 and the grandson of a former Korean president. He suffers from a fear of driving after a car accident that resulted in the death of his parents, leaving him as the sole survivor.

The series also stars Koo Hye-sun, Lee Min-ho, Kim Bum, Kim Joon, and Kim So-eun.
