Bea Alonzo “Intentionally” Not Mentioned in a Report of ABS-CBN’s TV Patrol?

Bea Alonzo not mentioned in a TV Patrol report

BEA ALONZO – Fans and supporters of the actress find it “disrespectful” that her name was “intentionally” not mentioned in the report of TV Patrol on Tuesday, April 18, 2023.

Bea has been a prized talent of ABS-CBN for a long time but officially transferred to GMA-7 on July 1, 2021. She was among those invited to have a special participation in “Ang Larawan,” an all-star concert that will feature music from the play and film of the same title written by National Artist for Literature Nick Joaquin.

National Artist for Music Ryan Cayabyab is the musical director of the star-studded concert which will be free to watch and will be held at the Metropolitan Theater on May 6, 2023. Exclusive footage of the rehearsals of the artists involved in the concert was captured by ABS-CBN News on Monday, April 17.

But in a report for TV Patrol, Bea’s name was not mentioned even though the Kapuso actress was seen in the released video and photos. The TV Patrol report stated that Celeste Legaspi and Agot Isidro will play Candida and Paula in Act 1, while Karylle and Aicelle Santos will perform in Act 2, and Rachel Alejandro and Bituin Escalante will bring the characters of the Marasigan siblings to life in Act 3.

Apart from Bea’s name, the TV Patrol report mentioned the names of all the performers in the concert one by one, including Hajji Alejandro, Nonie Buencamino, Mitch Valdes, Ricky Davao, Kakai Bautista, Cathy Teodoro, Markki Stroem, and Jericho Rosales. Those whose names were not mentioned were referred to as “at iba pa.”

Bea’s fans and those who watched the report suspected that her name was intentionally not mentioned and that she was simply included in the “and others” category despite the fact that she is one of the biggest names in the cast.
