Singapore like Cebu City Mural Captures Netizens’ Attention

Singapore like Cebu City?

SINGAPORE LIKE CEBU CITY – A mural declaring Queen City of the South to be like the city-state has captured the attention of netizens.

Singapore and Cebu City are both popular tourist destinations in Southeast Asia, but they have distinct differences in terms of culture, history, and lifestyle.

Singapore is a highly developed city-state that is known for its cleanliness, modern architecture, and efficient public transportation system. It is a melting pot of cultures, with a mix of Chinese, Malay, Indian, and Western influences. Singapore is also famous for its shopping and dining scenes, as well as its tourist attractions such as Sentosa Island, Marina Bay Sands, and Gardens by the Bay.

On the other hand, Cebu City is a provincial capital located in the Visayas region of the Philippines. It is known for its rich history, with landmarks such as Magellan’s Cross, Fort San Pedro, and Basilica del Santo Niño. Cebu City is also a hub for commerce and industry in the Philippines, and it has a lively nightlife scene with bars and restaurants offering local delicacies and entertainment.

While there may be some similarities between Singapore and Cebu City, such as their warm weather and coastal locations, they are distinct places with their own unique characteristics and attractions.

Meanwhile, a mural stating “together we can make great things happen Singapore like Cebu city” has captured the attention of netizens.

It was just recently when Cebu Flash Report posted a photos of the mural. It generated mixed reactions from the netizens.

It can be recalled that it was during the inaugural speech of Cebu City Mayor Michael “Mike” Rama last June 30, 2022 when he shared his vision for Cebu City to be Singapore-like.
