Aneeza is studying at a reputable school in Singapore, doing part-time jobs as waitress, dishwasher and cashier at a Japanese restaurant.

“I am doing well in Singapore. I am having a great time and enjoying my college life since it is very different from my life in the Philippines,” the 18-year-old daughter of Glydel and Tonton said. She is studying Business Administration because she aspires to run her own business someday.

Even though she had no intention of becoming an actress, Aneeza was compelled to do so after appearing in Joaquin Dumagoso’s debut film That Boy In The Dark, directed by Adolf Alix.

The film has already been selected for several international film festivals. Isko Moreno’s son has also won the best actor award here several times. That Boy in the Dark will be released in theaters on January 8, 2023.

According to Glydel at the film’s press conference, her daughter didn’t want to be an actor at first, but after reading the script, she changed her mind. The role played by Aneeza would have gone to Lotlot de Leon’s daughter.

According to her, she would put acting aside for the mean time to focus on her studies. But she’s still open to acting. Tonton and Glydel is lucky that even at an early age, their eldest child, she wanted to become independent and earn her own money.

Meanwhile, Aneeza is planning to reutrn to Singapore after the holidays. Aside from Glydel and Aneeza, also starring in That Boy In The Dark were Kiko Ipapo and Lotlot de Leon.
