Mother of Jane de Leon needs to undergo operation after got involved in an accident
JANE DE LEON – The mother of the actress figured in an accident and is needed to undergo operation.
On Monday night, she went to the social media platform, Instagram wherein she asked prayers for the operation of her mom Maricor Benitez-De Leon.
In the caption of her post, she noted: “Our mom got into an accident last Friday and today is her surgery. It breaks my heart to see her in this situation. I’m doing my best to stay positive and make her smile even though she’s in pain.”
In the photo, her mom can be seen lying on the hospital bed. Apparently, the actress who previously portrayed the role of Darna did not divulge the reason behind it.
But according to a source of Bandera, her mom went out of balance while at the badminton court. Apparently, it’s not clear whether her mom was playing badminton or not.
Netizens and even celebrities poured in their prayers for the successful operation of Jane de Leon’s mother. Among those were Jed Madela, Kira Balinger, Elisse Joson, Mutya Orquia and Melai Cantiveros-Francisco.
Jane de Leon is a Filipina actress, model, and dancer. She rose to fame when she portrayed the iconic superhero role of “Darna”. Prior to being cast as Darna, Jane appeared in various TV shows and movies, including the hit TV series “Halik” and the movie “The Debutantes”. She also worked as a commercial model and a member of the dance group, GirlTrends, in the variety show “It’s Showtime”.
