Ava Mendez reveals that Mark Anthony asked her if he could court her
AVA MENDEZ – The Vivamax star has revealed something about actor Mark Anthony Fernandez.
Mark Anthony is the son of late actor Rudy Fernandez and politician-actress Alma Moreno. He rose to prominence as a former member of the famous showbiz teen group “Gwapings,” alongside Jomari Yllana, Eric Fructuoso, and later Jao Mapa. He eventually appeared in a number of films.
But in 2016, he was arrested due to illegal drugs. A year later, he was released from jail following the dismissal of the drug case against him. Now, he’s back in show business. He’s currently gearing up for the Vivamax movie “Domme” starring Ava Mendez.
In recent virtual conference of the movie, Ava revealed something about Mark Anthony. According to her as per Bandera, the actor asked if he can court her. It happened the first time they met on the set of their movie.
“First time ko to work with him at nang una ko siyang makilala sa set, I was in bed. May kausap ako sa phone tapos, tumabi siya sa akin. Sabi n’ya, ‘Hi, I’m Mark Anthony Fernandez. Can I call you ‘mine’?’ Tapos sabi ko, ‘Huh!? Ano ’yon, kuya?’ Ha-hahahaha!” she said.
“Sabi niya, puwede ba kitang ligawan? Naku, sabi ko, hindi tayo ganyan. Matulog ka na lang, kasi may kausap pa ako sa phone,” she added.
Meanwhile, Ava is a Vivamax actress who has appeared in a number of daring films, including The Escort Wife, Purificacion, Eva, Ang Babaeng Nawawala sa Sarili, and Crush kong Curly, to name a few.
