Video of Smugglaz “destroying” the stage goes viral
SMUGGLAZ – The rapper is making rounds online after he literally destroyed the stage while performing at a concert.
The FlipTop Rap Battle League or Fliptop for short, was established by Alaric Riam Yuson also known as Anygma and is the first and longest-running professional rap battle conference in the Philippines.
FlipTop has three different battle formats such as written, freestyle and old school. Among the popular emcee’s in the world of FlipTop is Smugglaz. The rapper, whose real name is Bryan Lao, hails from Tondo, Manila.
Because of his popularity, he has performed in many parts of the country. Recently, he and other rappers held a concert at the Music Museum.
Apparently, while performing a song, he destroyed a portion of the stage by stomping his foot. Regardless of what happened, he continued with his performance as if nothing had happened. It even made the crowd wild.
The scene was posted on various social media pages including 𝙇𝙔𝙍𝙄𝘾𝙎𝙓𝙕. As of posting, the video has already earned more than 1 million views. Watch the video below:
It was flooded with mixed reactions from the netizens as well. One netizen commented: “Kaya ka lang naman nagtrending kasi nahulog ka sa stage. Ngayon, nangwarak naman ng stage.”
Aside from being a rapper, Smugglaz is also an actor. Previously, he starred on FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano starring Coco Martin. Now, he stars in another masterpiece of Fernando Poe Jr., the FPJ’s Batang Quiapo which Martin headlined as well.
