ERASERHEADS – Parokya ni Edgar announced that the auctioned Eraserheads signed guitar was sold to the highest bidder for PHP 1.3 million.
Parokya ni Edgar also revealed the highest bidder of the auctioned guitar.
To recall, it was last February 3 when Chito Miranda announced that the Eheads were auctioning off a D&D Gab CheeKee Signature guitar that they all personally signed in an effort to help raise more funds for the medical needs of ailing Parokya band guitarist Gab Chee Kee.
The said guitar was designed by Gab who chose the color green after his favorite superhero “The Green Lantern”.

In a social media post, Chito Miranda shared how the Eheads first inspired the Parokya and also shared how grateful they were for the Eheads’s efforts for their bandmate.
“Malamang alam naman ninyo na sobrang fans kami ng Eheads… lalo na kami ni Gab (si Gab ang unang nagparinig sa akin ng Eheads nung 3rd year high school kami…at nasira na ang ulo ko sa kanila ever since!)” Chito wrote at that time. “Ngayon, nagbigay na naman sila ng panibagong dahilan kung bakit sila ang ultimate idol namin.”
The auction ended at noon time Valentine’s Day after a bidding period of 10 days with the amount starting at PHP 50,000.
It was last February 15, 2023 when Parokya ni Edgar announced that the highest bidder of the D&D Gab Chee Kee Signature Guitar was Circus Music Festival Executive Producer Bryan Beran, whose winning bid was PHP 1.3 million.
“He claimed the guitar earlier this morning and directly paid his winning bid of ₱1,300,000.00 to the hospital’s accounting office. He and his team were also able to visit Gab in the ICU,” Parokya ni Edgar said in a Facebook post.
