FlipTop rapper J-King nabbed in Cabanatuan

Fliptop rapper J-King — whose real name was Julius Cenon — was nabbed in Cabanatuan, Nueva Ecija for possession of illegal drugs.

This, after J-Skeelz — whose real name was Jason Yap Rodriguez — was arrested in a drug buy-bust in Quezon last November 7, 2020.

In a report on GMA Network’s “24 Oras Weekend” last November 29, 2020, J-King and his companion were flagged by police for not wearing their helmets while aboard a motorcycle.

J-King and his companion, however, attempted to evade authorities when they’re approached.

As per the report, an inspection of J-King’s bag revealed two kilos of suspected marijuana worth PHP 240,000, a glass pipe, tooter, and lighter.

J-King and his companion would face charges for violation of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.

J-King rose to fame as a FlipTop battle emcee.

Among his popular duels was with Cripli, Tipsy D, Sur Henyo, Poison 13, Shehyee, Sayadd, Martin, Pistolero, and to name a few.

His recent battle at FlipTop was the battle against Batas for Isabuhay 2020 Quarantine battles last September 5, 2020. In a score of 7-0, Batas won the battle at that time.

Aside from being a battle emcee, he had collaborated with Lilp and recently released a collab track “Palagi” with over 31,000 views on YouTube as of this writing.
