Classmate of Stomach Girl defends her against bashers
STOMACH GIRL – A classmate of the Pinoy Henyo contestant, who allegedly cheated during the game, pleaded with netizens to stop their bashing.
In the past few days, a contestant of Pinoy Henyo, a segment of GMA-7 variety show Eat Bulaga, had been criticized heavily after eagle-eyed netizens caught her cheating during their turn playing the guessing game.
Lyka and Ryan were among the contestants of the highly popular segment on it’s February 14 episode, Valentine’s Day. Some netizens claimed that the female contestant clearly violated the game by cheating. At one point, she was caught lip-talking the “stomach” answer. This prompted netizens to give her a monicker, “Stomach Girl.”
Despite the fact that Eat Bulaga has already deleted the said episode on it’s official YouTube channel, netizens are still reacting on the issue even up to this date. Amid the bashing that Lyka, in particular, had been receiving, she was defended a couple of times by her friends and relatives. Speaking of, among the latest to defend her was her high school classmate, Jay Baldos Mariano.
Here’s the message of Mariano: “Please stop na Ang pambabash sa kanya ,As her Classmate and one of my friends way back SHS ,I felt sad (emoji) Laban Lyka Alburo Alam Kong Matibay ka. (emojis) DEADMA na sa nga BASHERS Jan (emojis)”.
His message was attached to the video below which he reposted.
Lyka Alburo has yet to issue any statement as of posting. Some netizens are urging her to publicly apologize at the same time return the amount they won after clinching the jackpot round of the segment.
