The band officially announced the final bids for its original memorabilia – Chito Miranda’s “Bagsakan” polo and “Halina sa Parokya” puppets.
On Monday, the band officially announced that the final bid for Chito Miranda’s “Bagsakan” polo is PHP 150,000, while the final bid for the “Halina sa Parokya” puppets is PHP 85,000.
According to Parokya ni Edgar, both bids have been confirmed and the “winner” has opted to stay anonymous for the time being. The band went on to thank the “winner” for helping their bandmate who is battling pneumonia.
Netizens noticed the word “geng geng” in the screen-captured photos posted by the band. In the comments section, they believed that content creator Boss Toyo is the “winner” of the auction.
“Sa genggeng pa lang alams na kung sino,” one of the netizens said in the comments section of Parokya’s Facebook post.
Following the announcement, Boss Toyo posted a photo of himself on his Facebook page along with the hashtag “#genggeng”. Netizens then congratulated him in the comments section of his post.
As of this writing, Boss Toyo didn’t confirm nor deny the netizens’ claims that he’s the auction “winner” of the band’s original memorabilia.

Meanwhile, Chito took to social media to express his gratitude for helping his bandmate, band guitarist Gab Chee Kee. He confirmed that his “Bagsakan” polo was sold for PHP 150,000 and the “Halina sa Parokya” puppets Mr.Suave and Chito Matsing was sold for PHP 85,000.
At the last part of his post, he hopes they find the “Bagsakan” polo of late rapper Francis Magalona.
