Here’s the message of Martin Nievera to Jed Madela
MARTIN NIEVERA – The Concert King gave a moral support and encouraging words to fellow singer and “The Voice of Asia” Jed Madela following his revelation that he considered quitting showbiz.
It was just recently when the singer sat down with Toni Gonzaga via one-on-one interview. At one point, he revealed that he considered to quit singing.
“Parang mas pinapansin na nila yung mas bata, mga bago and so for a while, I considered stopping na lang kasi hindi na ako masaya. Hindi na ako masaya how the industry was treating me,” he said.
Many were saddened by his revelation but one basher said that his absence will not be felt even if he quits. “Kahit mag stop ka, di mararamdaman absence mo! Ang daming bagong singers ba nagagaling at fresh pa, down to earth pa,” the basher said.
Jed Madela exposed the basher on social media, caling him a “mean person.” Meanwhile, according to Manila Bulletin, singer Martin Nievera gave a moral support and encouraging words to Jed. The two were among the mainstay of variety show, ASAP.
“You are what we call, ‘a singers singer,’ there is no other voice I know that is as consistently powerful and as consistently in tune and in shape as your voice! You sing and we all are all left with our mouths open in envy,” he said. “I can list down so many singers who will agree with me! You are amazing Jed! Much better than words can say so don’t let words bring you down!” he added.
