Restaurant in QC elicits comments with “Free samgyup sa may limang jowa” promo
A restaurant in Quezon City or QC has elicited mixed reactions from netizens with its “Feb-ibig” promo: “Free Samgyup sa may limang jowa”.
February is the month of love. During this season, couples go on dates such as dining out, going to the cinemas, and even traveling locally and internationally. Speaking of dining out, many restaurants are offering promos throughout the month of February, particularly on Valentine’s Day.
In fact, a Korean restaurant in Quezon City has caught the attention of netizens with it’s promo. The resto offers free samgyupsal to customers who could bring not only one but five (5) partners.
The promo is courtesy of Samgy Side, a restaurant that serve samgyeopsal (simply samgyup) or Korean grilled pork belly, in Tandang Sora, Quezon City. The promo is effective for the whole month of February. It was first announced via their Facebook page on February 3.
However, before availing the said promo, the customer should bring at least five (5) partners, either girlfriends or boyfriends. They are also required to bring a valid ID. The promo earned mixed reactions online. There were netizens tagging their friends.
But the promo also elicited negative comments from the some social media users. One netizen said: “stop normalizing cheating.” Here are the comments of some netizens:
Apparently, it is unclear whether the promotion is a genuine offer or a gimmick by the mentioned Korean restaurant.
