Chito Miranda announced that Eraserheads is auctioning a guitar signed by band members.
ERASERHEADS – “Parokya ni Edgar” frontman Chito Miranda announced that Eraserheads band is set to auction a guitar to help Parokya’s guitarist, who is battling pneumonia.
The bidding will start on February 4 at 12:00 pm and will end at 12:00 noon on February 14, 2023.
On Friday, Chito posted a series of photos on his Instagram account as he announced that Eraserheads are auctioning a D&D guitar signed by band members Ely Buendia, Raimund Marasigan, Marcus Adoro, and Buddy Zabala.
The bidding amount will start at PHP 50,000 with all the money going straight to the hospital bills of “Parokya ni Edgar” guitarist Gab Chee Kee, who was diagnosed with lymphoma-induced pneumonia.
“This is for Gab. Etong D&D guitar na ‘to was designed by Gab himself (kaya green kasi favorite nya si Green Latern),” Chito said in the caption of his social media post.
According to Chito, it was Gab who introduced Eheads tracks to him when they were in 3rd-year high school at that time. He also admitted that Eraserheads is one of the biggest reasons why they formed the band.

Chito added that “Parokya ni Edgar” also had their first front-act experience with the iconic ’90s band before, making them their inspiration as a band.
“Ngayon, nagbigay na naman sila ng panibagong dahilan kung bakit sila ang ultimate idol namin. Maraming salamat, mga idol,” he said.
Earlier this month, the “Parokya ni Edgar” frontman took the opportunity to ask his friends and the public to pitch in financially in order to help defray Gab’s mounting hospital bills.
