Cristy Fermin calls out Liza Soberano
LIZA SOBERANO – The actress was called out by veteran entertainment host Cristy Fermin.
It was on Sunday, February 26 when Liza took to YouTube wherein she posted a 14-minute vlog giving some updates about her life including her past hardships in the entertainment industry and the formation of a new career path she is currently laying the groundwork for.
According to the 25-year-old actress, who has been an endorser and actress since she was 12 years old, it was only during pandemic when she had the opportunity to think back on her past as well as her goals for the future.
“I’ve sacrificed myself, I’ve sacrificed my freedom, I’ve sacrificed my happiness to present Liza Soberano to the world, and I think I’ve earned the right to finally be me,” she noted. “To finally be able to do things for myself as Hope Soberano.”
However, her revelation did not sit well with her former colleagues. Some even called her ungrateful. Among those who reacted on the matter is no less than Cristy Fermin.
“Nakakaloka. Wala… walang utang na loob itong batang ito. Ito pala ang tunay na dahilan kung bakit ka umalis ng Pilipinas, hindi ‘yung gagawin mo pang sangkalan ‘yang Hollywood na butas ng karayom ang lulusutan mo bago ka makapasok,” Fermin said.
Liza, as previously stated, decided not to renew her contract with ABS-CBN and instead signed with James Reid’s music label, Careless Music. While in the United States, the actress is attempting to break into the Hollywood.
