Alfred Vargas on his wife: “Ako ‘yung na-starstruck kahit na ako ‘yung artista”
ALFRED VARGAS – The Kapuso actor recently shared throwback photos with his wife Yasmine Vargas ahead of Valentine’s Day this year.
Alfred and Yasmine tied the knot in a civil wedding last August 16, 2010 and renewed their vows at the Manila Cathedral 7 years after.
On Friday, Alfred posted a series of photos with his wife on his social media account to celebrate Valentine’s Day early. He also wrote an appreciation message for his wife of 13 years.
According to him, he can’t help but smile every time he sees his wife. He also said that he knows how blessed he is to have Yasmine as his wife.

He also said that he still remembered the first time they met at their hometown fiesta in Laguna. According to him, he’s the one who got starstruck after seeing her even though he’s an actor.
“Naaalala ko pa ang first time na nagkita kami sa hometown fiesta nila sa Laguna… nahumaling agad ako. Ako ‘yung na-starstruck kahit na ako ‘yung artista,” he wrote in the caption of his post.
He also knows that God planned for them to be with each other every day.
Alfred and Yasmine are now blessed with three children – Ary, Ching, and Alfredo.
Meanwhile, Manila Standard reported that the Kapuso actor fulfilled his dream of working with Philippine cinema icons Nora Aunor and Gina Alajar in “Pieta”. At that time, he said that working with them is a dream come true for him.
“I’m able to tick this off my bucket list now. I can only imagine na sa red carpet, to walk with Nora Aunor, National Artist pa. For me, I’m just excited to work with Nora Aunor,” he told the movie press in a recent media conference at that time.
