Toni Gonzaga, Andew E and Alex Gonzaga exchange banter during Ultimate Multimedia Star’s concert
TONI GONZAGA X ANDREW E – The two poked fun at the cake-smearing controversy of actress-vlogger Alex Gonzaga.
It was on Friday, January 20 when Toni held a concert at the Smart Araneta Coliseum as part of her 20th anniversary in show business. It was also her birthday at the time.
Among those who performed during her concert is no less than her younger sister Alex, who made a rendition of Maymay Entrata’s Amakabogera. After her performance, the stage LED display changed to “I am Alex.”, a spoof to the concert poster of Toni.
She uttered: “Pinag-usapan ‘yan for almost three days”. Toni jokingly said: “Kaya pala trending ka for three days”. The Ultimate Multimedia Star was referring to the cake-smearing controversy of the actress-vlogger.
In the past few days, Alex was heavily criticized after smearing cake on the face of the waiter identified as Allan Crisostomo. The sister of Toni has already issued a public apology.
Then, Toni added: “Nakita mo, birthday ko, wala, nilayo namin lahat ng cake sa’yo.” To which Alex replied: “Nagbago na ‘ko hindi nako ganun. ‘Yan ho ang pinakapinagiiwasan ko ngayon, mga cake. Talagang lumalayo na ko diyan ngayon.”
When asked: “So ‘pag birthday mo ang handa na?”, she replied: “Ice cream, bilo-bilo, wala na tayong mga ganun (ice cream), Tine. Nagbago na ko Tine, I’m a changed person.”
Rapper Andrew E joined them on stage as the exchange banter. He told Alex in singing tone: “Mahirap na mahirap na baka may cake kang dala.” The latter replied: “Greatest fear ko na ‘yan. Death? cake? Cake! Ayoko na nagbago na ako.”
