The 35-year-old actress has been receiving tremendous criticism after smearing cake on the forehead of a waiter. It happened during the birthday-salubong of the vlogger.

A lot have already aired their side on the matter. Among those who have been critical toward the sister of Toni Gonzaga are well-known personalities such as motivational speaker Rendon Labador and veteran journalist Arnold Clavio.

One of the latest to react on the controversial issue of Alex Gonzaga is former Commission on Elections commissioner Rowena Guanzon. Recently, she went to the microblogging site, Twitter wherein she dared the actress-vlogger to attend the “Dinagsa Festival” in her hometown, Cadiz City.

“Alex Gonzaga you are invited to my home city Cadiz fiesta ,LAMHITANAY . Legal dito ang mag lagay ng pintura sa mukha ng iba. Dali na di kay sadya di dai. Tapat ka gid sa akon. ( lagot ka),” she noted.

In another tweet, she stressed that face paint will be smeared on the faces of the people and not icing on the cake. Her post was accompanied by the hashtag “bastos” and “matapobre”.

Meanwhile, Dinagsa Festival is a vibrant Ati-atihan festival celebrated by the people of Northern Negros. The festival’s distinguishing feature is the “Lamhitanay,” in which residents and visitors roam the streets and smear paint in each other’s faces.
