DONNALYN BARTOLOME – The “back to work” post of the content creator on the social networking site, Facebook has generated mixed reactions from the netizens.
Donnalyn whose real name is Donnalyn Jereos Bartolome is a popular YouTube video blogger as well as a singer-songwriter, rapper, and actress, originally from Oahu, Hawaii. Her mom is a businesswoman while her father was a Senior Chief Petty Officer in the U.S. Navy.
She’s famous on social media as the Social Media Sweetheart. She usually posts all sorts of content on her YouTube channel. As an actress, she has starred in the movies like Your Place or Mine? (2015) starring Andi Eigenmann, Darkroom (2017), Cry No Fear (2018) co-starring with Ella Cruz and Tililing (2021).
Donnalyn is currently making rounds online following her “back to work post.” In her post, she wondered why so many employees are depressed when they return to work after the holidays. She exclaimed that they should be happy because there is another chance to improve their lives and the lives of their families.
According to her, she even prefers to work on the first day of January because “superstition ko may work ako buong taon pag ganun.” She also reminded the netizens to be grateful for having a job and if that work makes someone unhappy, he/she should find a job that will make him/her happy. In the last part of her post, she stressed that having a job is a blessing and people should change their mindset.
