Because of joining his wife Heart Evangelista in Paris, Sen. Chiz Escudero was criticized
CHIZ ESCUDERO – The senator was criticized on social media after joining his wife Heart Evangelista in Paris for a fashion week.
The couple is currently in Paris, gracing the Paris Fashion Week. Earlier, Heart went to the social media platform, Instagram wherein she posted some snaps after a dinner date.
In the photos, Heart was sporting a pearl-white strapless dress by Vietnamese designer Tran Hung, while Escudero was wearing a black tuxedo. Netizens and celebrities were overjoyed to see them together, flodding her post with admiration.
However, there were some who are not please with their bonding moment abroad. On Twitter, a user with handle name @marortoll criticized Sen. Chiz Escudero for joining his wife in the city while the Senate is allegedly in session.
“I believe the Senate is in session and one Senator is gallivanting in Paris with his wife for fashion week,” the post noted. The tweet was also flooded with mixed reactions from other netizens. One netizen commented: “Work- lovelife balance.”
To recall, it was just last year when the two were rumored to have broken up. This came after netizens noticed that the socialite and fashion icon removed the Escudero surname from her Instagram account.
Then, she admitted in September that year she’s dealing with “personal struggles.” It was triggered when she disclosed a month later that she’s going to stay abroad.
But rumors that their relationship was coming to an end stopped when Heart Evangelista told her husband that she would “see [him] soon.” Then, they celebrated New Year’s Eve together and even went to Japan along with Chiz’s kids to bond.
