Andrea Torres: “Feeling ko one day, may makakapansin sa akin”
ANDREA TORRES – The Kapuso actress and content creator recently spoke about her past rejections in the showbiz industry.
The actress first ventured into the show business as early as 2005.
Andrea shared in an interview with Cosmopolitan Philippines that she had been through a lot of auditions and rejections.
According to the Kapuso actress, it has come to the point that getting rejected didn’t affect her anymore, but she’s still going into auditions because she wanted to become an actress.
“I was used to going into auditions and leaving na hindi ka tanggap. Dumating na sa point na it doesn’t affect me anymore, but I still go because I want to be an actress,” she said in an interview on Cosmopolitan Philippines. “Feeling ko one day, may makakapansin sa akin.“
The actress also shared that there was a time when she spent a whole day under the sun for a role as an “extra” where she played as a passerby.

According to her, she only earned PHP 500 for that stint and her parents got angry with her at that time. However, the actress said that she thought those projects were the key to success.
Last November 2022, Andrea trended on social media as she effectively won the hearts of viewers with her powerful portrayal of “Sisa” in the Kapuso television series “Maria Clara at Ibarra”.
The actress went on to release a vlog titled: “BTS: Behind the Sisa” as a way of thanking those who appreciated her acting in the TV series. In the said vlog, she reacted to the feedback and reenactments she received out of playing the iconic role in the series.
Despite all the praises she got from it, the actress was nothing but humble and grateful once she exited the show.
