TONI GONZAGA – The television personality labeled by her husband as “Most Powerful Celebrity Today” failed to win the highly coveted Best Actress trophy in the awards night of Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) 2022.

It can be recalled that it was in a press conference, her husband Paul Soriano said that Toni is “probably the most powerful celebrity today” because the criticisms and hate that she’s getting came from equally “powerful people” too.

He stressed that instead of being consumed by all negativities, his wife chose to create her own show, make a concert, make a film and etc. “If that’s not powerful, I don’t know what is, right? You know I always tell her, ‘You are at the right place at this right time’…” he said.

Apparently, the most powerful celebrity in the country today failed to win the best actress award during the Gabi ng Parangal of MMFF 2022. “My Teacher”, the entry of Toni Gonzaga starring Joey de Leon took the “gender sensitivity award.”
