Mang Inasal is a barbecue fast food restaurant chain established in Iloilo City in 2003. The company was started by Edgar Sia, who owned his first business at the age of twenty.

Its first branch opened in 2003 at the Robinsons Mall Carpark in Iloilo City. By 2008, it had opened 23 restaurants, with ten being franchised and in 2009, it expanded to over a hundred branches.

In October 2010, 70% of the fast-food chain was acquired by Jollibee Foods Corporation (JFC), for P3 billion ($68.8 million). In April 2016, JFC acquired the remaining 30%.

The fast food chain that became popular with unlimited rice landed as a trending topic on Twitter on Tuesday, December 27. This was after the baseball cap of K-pop star Heesung of the South Korean boy band ENHYPEN.

Heesung was spotted at Gimpo airport wearing green baseball cap with yellow rectangular logo, which resembles the hats worn by the crew of Mang Inasal. But when you look closely, it is not the Mang Inasal logo that is printed on Heesung’s baseball cap but the Kodak logo.

Enhypen is a South Korean boy band formed by Belift Lab, a joint venture between CJ ENM and Hybe Corporation, through the 2020 survival competition show I-Land. The group consists of seven members: Heeseung, Jay, Jake, Sunghoon, Sunoo, Jungwon, and Ni-ki. They made their debut on November 30, 2020, with the extended play (EP) Border: Day One.
