Netizens offered prayers for the singer after he was rushed to the hospital on December 4 after collapsing at a party in Batangas City. A friend of Baldivino told Abante correspondent Ronilo Dagos that a blood vessel in the singer’s head burst possibly due to an aneurysm which occurs when a section of an artery wall weakens, allowing it to balloon out or widen abnormally.
The singer underwent surgery on December 5 and was transferred to the ICU or intensive care unit at Jesus of Nazareth Hospital. Apparently, the family of Jovit Baldivino has yet to comment on the matter.

He also ventured into acting and has starred in a couple of shows such as Growing Up and Juan Dela Cruz. After being involved in a series of controversies, he lied low from showbiz but still continue doing gigs and shows.
