Singer Jovit Baldivino is in critical condition possibly due to an aneurysm
JOVIT BALDIVINO – The first-ever Pilipinas Got Talent winner is in a hospital’s intensive care unit (ICU) after allegedly collapsing at a party in Batangas.
Jovit Baldivino rose to fame when he emerged as the first-ever winner of Pilipinas Got Talent in 2010. In 2011, he won the GMMSF Box-Office Entertainment Awards as a Promising Singer/Performer.
He also ventured into acting and has starred in a couple of shows such as Growing Up and Juan Dela Cruz alongside Coco Martin. After being involved in a series of controversies, he lied low from showbiz but still continue doing gigs and shows.
UPDATE: Jovit Baldivino Passes Away
The singer was rushed to the hospital on Sunday, December 4, after allegedly collapsing at a party in Batangas City. A friend of Baldivino told Abante correspondent Ronilo Dagos that a blood vessel in the singer’s head burst possibly due to an aneurysm. It occurs when a section of an artery wall weakens, allowing it to balloon out or widen abnormally.
The 29-year-old singer underwent surgery on December 5 and was transferred to the ICU or intensive care unit at Jesus of Nazareth Hospital. Apparently, the family of Jovit Baldivino has yet to release any statement regarding his condition.
A close friend of Jovit Baldivino named Ivee Asuncion Reyes took to social media wherein asked for prayers for the recovery of the singer. Her post was then flooded with prayers for his recovery.
