Here’s the response of Jerome Ponce to basher criticizing him for his role as young Ninoy in Maid in Malacanang sequel directed by Darryl Yap
JEROME PONCE – The actor who will play the role of young Ninoy Aquino in the sequel of Maid in Malacanang responded to basher who criticized him.
Jerome is an actor who started his showbiz career as a stage actor in theatre plays. He made his television debut in the Philippine daytime television drama series Be Careful With My Heart as Luke Lim.
Ponce attempted twice to enter the reality show, Pinoy Big Brother. He was put in the reserved slot but didn’t make it to the famous blue and yellow house.
He also appeared in the Prime Time Series The Good Son wherein he portrayed the role of Lorenzo ‘Enzo’ Buenavidez. He last appeared on television via FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano.
Currently, he’s gearing up for his role as the young Ninoy Aquino in the film, Martyr or Murderer. MoM is the sequel to the controversial movie Maid in Malacanang, directed by Darryl Yap.
However, there were netizens who did not like the idea he’s playing the role as young Ninoy Aquino. One of them is a basher who said: “Ikaw ba ung batang Ninoy? ang laki cguro ng bigay sa talent fee mo HAHA walang wala naba kaya kapit na ky acclang Darryl.” To which he replied: “hanap ka trabaho.. sayang buhay.. baka may family kang binubuhay or what.”
To recall, Jerome Ponce was one of the casts of Katips, the movie which is said to be the rival of Maid in Malacanang. It is a movie about a group of student activists from the Katipunan area of Quezon City who struggled to protest the imposition of nationwide martial law in the 1970s.
