Eraserheads is a Filipino alternative rock band formed in 1989 composed of Ely Buendia, Buddy Zabala, Marcus Adoro, and Raimund Marasigan. Dubbed as “The Beatles of the Philippines”, the band became one of the most influential and successful in the history of Filipino music.

The group is currently gearing up for their upcoming reunion concert titled: “Ang Huling El Bimbo” which will be held at the SMDC Festival Grounds in Parañaque City this coming December 22, 2022. Among the music icons who will join the reunion concert of Eraserheads is no less than Gary Valenciano.

In an image made public on Friday, Valenciano can be seen having fun with Eraserheads lead singer Ely Buendia while taking a break from practice at the Dolphy Theater in Quezon City. The director of “Huling El Bimbo” concert also happens to be Valenciano’s son, Paolo Valenciano.

Jazz Nicolas of Itchyworms and Ciudad’s Mikey Amistoso are other guests set to appear in the concert. A drone display and a hologram of the late Francis Magalona will be featured, in addition to the band’s legendary discography, so concertgoers can anticipate a spectacle. There will be an 18-piece orchestra performing with the Eraserheads as well.

Livestreaming is available for concertgoers who can’t make it to the venue. Pay-per-view access is available in the Philippines through the Smart LiveStream app for P650. On the other hand, for USD 29.99, customers in other countries can watch iWantTFC’s live and on-demand streaming for 48 hours.
