The network said: “In accessing the Eraserheads Live PPV stream, please remember to use your Smart data or PLDT internet connection.”

A number of internet users criticized the organizers for not making the terms of the pay-per-view access clear to them before they paid for it. A netizen wrote: “Di nyo man lang in-announce bago nyo kinuha pera namin!”

Another netizen noted: “You should have indicated to your ads that it is EXCLUSIVE FOR SMART USER ONLY before accepting our payment. SCAM!” There were also netizens asking for refund while another netizen claimed that despite having a good internet connection, even using PLDT, he was not able to watch the reunion concert of Eraserheads.
