Maxene Magalona: “Proud ate moment”
MAXENE MAGALONA – The actress recently reacted to the hologram of her father Francis Magalona at the Eraserheads Huling El Bimbo reunion concert.
To recall, the late Master Rapper Francis Magalona died last 2009 due to leukemia.
A hologram of Francis M was among the highlights of the band’s Huling El Bimbo reunion concert. The reunion concert held last December 22 reportedly drew “75,000 people“.
Maxene posted a video on her social media account where her father was seen performing at the reunion concert.
She had a “[proud] ate moment” seeing her younger brothers Arkin and Elmo “shine their light on stage”. In the caption of her social media post, she said that she’s proud of her brothers.
“I am so damn proud of you both! Papa obviously lives in your souls,” she wrote. “It was nice to see you for a while, Pop! Thank you so much for gracing us with your presence.”
Through the hologram, Maxene’s father was able to perform his verse in the opening number “Superproxy” alongside his two sons. Maxene also sent her gratitude and love to the band for honoring her late father through the hologram.

In a separate post on Instagram, Maxene said that December 22 was one of the “most magical days” of her life. She went on to thank the band for healing people’s souls with their music.
“I don’t take good energy for granted,” she wrote. “On this special day, God blessed me with an abundance of it. And so much more.”
