On Wednesday, November 30, Sauler took to Instagram wherein she shared a photo of her alongside Kris and Bimby during her visit to the US.

“You always make time for family,” she noted. “Happy to visit and catch up with you and the kids while you’re in the US, Krisy. Continuously praying for your well-being. Love, love, love you, Bimb and Kuya always, @krisaquino,” Darla Sauler added. Aside from the photo, Darla did not give any update about Kris.

Kris Aquino’s last IG post is her birthday message to her late father, former Senator Ninoy Aquino. The actress-television posted a photo of her as a child wearing a shirt printed with her father’s face. She shared that she only experienced having him as her father for three years and three months and yet he gave her so much of him.

Kris also reminisced about the times she bonded with her father when the Aquino family lived in exile. According to her, her father was the first to believe that her childhood dreams would come true.

At one point, Kris seems to have thrown shade at people who are allegedly changing the story about her family. She wrote: “Subukan mang baguhin ang kwento ng kahapon, it’s from you i learned to NEVER show anger, NEVER reveal your weakness.”

However, it’s unclear to whom she’s addressing her statement. However, some netizens speculated that this had something to do with the sequel to Maid in Malacanang, “Martyr or Murderer.” Darryl Yap’s controversial film is set to hit theaters next year.
