“Manika ng mangkukulam” TV personality?
MANIKA NG MANGKUKULAM – A TV personality has been dubbed by her co-workers as “manika ng mangkukulam.”
A blind item is a news story, usually in a gossip column, in which the facts of the situation are reported but the identities of those involved are not revealed.
In the latest blind item of PEP, the entertainment website featured a TV personality whose being dubbed “manika ng mangkukulam” by her colleagues.
The production staff is complaining about the television personality’s “hindi makataong asal” and “walang katapusang” application of makeup which is one of the reasons why they get delayed.
“Makeup siya nang makeup pero wala naman nabago sa mukha niya na ibang-iba kapag walang makeup kaya manika ng mangkukulam ang tawag namin sa kanya,” one of the production staff said.
The said production staff revealed that the TV personality also interferes with the camera angle and lighting.
There was even a time when the TV personality came late to the studio, without makeup. The latter went on shouting about the absence of lighting in her mirror.
The staff said that none is paying attention to her, prompting her to shout: “Ano ba iyan, parang wala akong kausap!”
The television personality always smiles in front of the camera which is why none would think that she’s bothering her colleagues.
Even new employees at the network where she works dislike the television personality’s demeanor.
The television personality allegedly shamed newcomers, but they don’t mind because they are afraid of losing their jobs.
