MJ LASTIMOSA – The Miss Universe Philippines 2014 responded to a Kakampink who called her “retokada.”
A lot of ordinary citizens and even celebrities underwent beauty enhancement. Among the primary reasons is to look good and at the same time boost their self-esteem.
One of them is beauty queen MJ Lastimosa. MJ is a model, host, actress, TV presenter and beauty pageant titleholder who was crowned Miss Universe Philippines 2014. She represented the Philippines at the Miss Universe 2014 pageant and finished as a Top 10 semifinalist.
Lastimosa was born in the Philippines to an Arab father and a Filipino mother. She earned an honors degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Mindanao in Davao City. Prior to competing in Binibining Pilipinas, she won Davao’s Loveliest in 2005, Mutya ng University of Mindanao in 2006, Miss Regional and Miss National PRISAA in 2007, and Mutya ng Davao and Reyna ng Aliwan in 2008.
Recently, she went to the social networking site, Facebook wherein she called out a netizen who commented on one of her posts. In the comment, a certain Cedric Jose told her: “Parehas retokada?lol” Here’s their interaction:
Meanwhile, Lastimosa revealed that her decision to undergo plastic surgery was influenced by her previous experiences. The beauty queen clarified to her fans that her post was not about politics, but rather about the netizen’s attitude. Even some Kakampinks were offended by the netizen’s remark.
