Male Netizen Flexes Long Mejia’s Portrait He Received During “Monito, Monita”
A male netizen goes viral online after flexing the gift he received during “Monito, Monita, Something Long”.
The Christmas holiday season is a time for giving gifts. In keeping with the custom of giving, Filipinos have their own version of Secret Santa known as “Monito Monita,” wherein groups of friends, coworkers, or classmates exchange gifts.
The procedures are simple. Every day or once a week, you must offer your Monito or Monita a tiny gift. The frequency is determined by the guidelines the group has established, and typically, there is an established cost for the donation.
A Facebook user named Rey Joseph Aguilar has shared a photo of a gift he received during their “Monito, Monita, Something Long” segment. The post immediately goes viral online and garnered reactions from internet users.
In the photo, it can be seen that Aguilar received a picture frame of the popular Filipino comedian Long Mejia. Rey Joseph said that he received the item while exchanging gifts during “Monito, Monita”.
The giver brought a picture of Long Mejia after the organizer required them to give “Something Long” to their monito or monita. “Natawa nalang ng sobra.. kasi mukhang tama naman po siya,” Aguilar said.
The photo has a caption:
“Something long yung nabunot binigay si Long Mejia”
