LANY is an American pop duo from Los Angeles consisting of Paul Jason Klein and Jake Clifford Goss. They are behind the songs Malibu Nights, ilysb and to name a few.

The pop duo are having their A November to Remember concerts from November 11 to 13 and November 15 to 16 at the SM Mall of Asia Arena and another show at The Theater at Solaire in partnership with Vivo Philippines on November 14.

A lot of fans flocked to their recent concert at SM MOA Arena. Among those who attended are said to be “Kakampinks” or supporters of former Vice President Leni Robredo.

At one point, they can be heard chanting the name of Leni as if in a political rally. It was posted on the video-sharing platform, TikTok by a certain JR Chua (@kunehongisko). Some concertgoers can be heard shouting, ‘Leni’ and ‘Ang Presidente, Leni Robredo’.

It was reposted on the social networking site, Facebook via Main Pop Girls Stanposting FB page with the caption: “They attended at LANY Robredo’s concert.” The video has gone viral, garnering mixed reactions from the netizens.

There were netizens who criticized what “Kakampinks” have done during the concert. Apparently, it’s yet to be confirmed if they are actually supporters of Leni Robredo.

“The second hand embarrassment. Reciting an election chant in a concert almost sounds like Aldubnation na hindi nakamove on kay Maine at Alden,” a netizen commented.
