Mother of Erik Santos passes away
ANGELITA RAMOS SANTOS – The mother of Prince of Pop Erik Santos passed away on Friday, November 25 at the age of 66.
The sad news was shared by the Kapamilya singer through his Instagram account. Eric posted a photo of his mom with the caption: “She is finally home with Jesus. I love you so much, Nanay.”
It can be recalled that it was during the October 9, 2022 episode of ASAP Natin ‘To when Erik asked for prayers for the recovery of his mom. It was his birthday wish as he celebrates his 40th birthday.
At the time, Erik Santos sang the song “Wind Beneath My Wings” along with his sister Hadiyah. The Kapamilya also shared before the difficulties that his family is going through because of the condition of his mother.
“It’s been so challenging for the family for the past months and gusto kong maging masaya siya. So, pag napanood niya ito, alam kong magiging masaya siya dahil yung kantang ito. And on my very special day, I would love to honor her and to say that I love you so much, Mommy,” he said.
He also mentioned that their parents are the heroes of their family. Although his mother has been in and out of the hospital since February, he did not divulge anything about his mother’s condition.
Meanwhile, celebrities such as Ogie Alcasid, Kyla, Jugs Jugueta, Yeng Constantino, and Zsa Zsa Padilla extended their sympathy toward the bereaved family of Erik Santos.
