Netizen expresses dismay with Catriona Gray on photo with Imee Marcos’s son

Catriona is a Filipino-Australian model, singer, beauty queen, television personality, youth advocate, and arts ambassador. She’s best known for having been crowned Miss Universe 2018. She is the fourth Filipina to win the Miss Universe pageant.
Since taking home the fourth Miss Universe crown for the Philippines in 2018, Catriona Gray has been very active with sponsorships, advocacy work, and hosting gigs. As a performer and recording artist, she has also been pursuing music.
It was just recently when she went to Batac City in Ilocos Norte and tried the famous Ilocos empanada. Empanada is a baked or fried pastry and filling turnover popular in Spanish, and other Southern European, Latin American, and Iberian-influenced cultures around the world. The name derives from the Spanish empanar, which means ‘breaded,’ as in wrapped or coated in bread.
At one point, the beauty queen herself tried to make an empanada. In a photo, she was accompanied by Ilocos Norte Governor Matthew Marcos Manotoc.
Apparently, there was a netizen who did not like the idea of Catriona being close to the Marcoses. In a tweet, retrieved by dailybncnews.com, a netizen named Monique T. Timozarap expressed her disappointment with the beauty queen because of her photos with the nephew of President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr.
“I just saw Catriona Gray on the internet that she had with the extended family of Blengblong Narcos. I’m disappointed with her, kasama niya ‘yung Matthew Marcos sa Ilocos Norte. Ano ginagawa n’ya don? Wala pa ba siya natitirang kahihiyan para kay Atty. Leni?” she wrote.
During the last election, Catriona Gray was a staunch supporter of former Vice President Leni Robredo.

What is wrong when she had visited such event with the son of Imee Marcos Manotoc. Their is no big deal with it, it is just the people who have short minded interpretation of jealousy. Besides Catriona is still single, she is smart and brilliant lady. She has a dignity to mingle. Why does they are trying to insert the name of Leni, why? Did Leni pay for her freedom? Did Leni hold her life? What is nakaka hiya doon? They ae all jealous of their soccumedminded and shortened idea. Nothing is all about to worry in that situations, she is old enough to decide what she wanted to be. Di ba?

Think about it. Catriona Gray was a Miss Universe and she can mingle with any Nationality. She earned it herself. So nobody has the right to insert politics in this kind of Social interaction which is her duty. Short minded people should stay away from her life. You have not paid for her being a Miss Universe neither do I or anyone. So please mind your own biz and scratch your own. Good Vibes lang.
