Malaysian Free TV Channel Airs ABS-CBN TV Series Subtitled in Bahasa Malaysia

ABS-CBN TV SERIES – Three (3) Kapamilya TV series are set to air in Malaysia on its free TV channel with subtitles in Bahasa Malaysia.

In May 2020, the ABS-CBN network was shut down due to franchise issues. The Kapamilya network was not allowed to renew its franchise over tax issues and it has yet to renew nor obtain a new franchise until now. Also, there are no media updates as to whether or not the network pushes for another franchise.

What is known to the public is that the Kapamilya network continued airing through other platforms like the social media and the video-sharing app YouTube. It also airs some of its programs on Netflix.

ABS-CBN gave its artists the liberty to transfer to other home networks. Meanwhile, many actors, actresses, singers, and showbiz celebrities who have been under the network for decades chose to remain as Kapamilya.
