Father of Sam Milby dies
LLOYD WILLIAM MILBY – The father of Kapamilya star Sam Milby passed away at the age of 86.
On Wednesday, November 3 (Philippine time), the actor took to the image-sharing platform, Instagram wherein he shared the sad news.
It seemed that he went to Ohio to be with his dad in his final moments as per the photo he posted while holding his father’s hand.
“Rest in peace dad…. love you,” he wrote as the caption.
His post was then flooded with condolences and sympathy from his fans and followers.
Among those who lamented with Sam are celebrities such as Bea Alonzo, EA Guzman, Bianca Gonzalez, Rodjun Cruz, Gab Valenciano as well as his girlfriend, Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray.
Sam Milby mentioned in the mediacon of defunct Kapamilya series, Halik, in 2018 that by the time he was born, his dad was already 49-years-old.
Last January 202, he shared some glimpses on social media during his visit with his family in Ohio.
In his guesting on Magandang Buhay last November, he shared how worried he is about his family especially with his dad.
Meanwhile, Sam Milby was born and raised in Ohia by his Filipina mom and American dad.
In 2005, he went to the Philippines to pursue a career in show business and modeling.
He landed bit roles in some ads before obtaining a lead role in Close Up’s TV commercial with Barbie Almalbis.
Then, he joined the reality show, Pinoy Big Brother (PBB) which paved his way to be later recognized as one of the most popular celebrities in the country.
His first major film debut was Close to You starring John Lloyd Cruz and Bea Alonzo.
