Darryl Yap: “Hindi nyo nga alam na bading ako”
DARRYL YAP – The controversial director took to social media wherein he reminded the netizens that he’s part of the LGBT community.
Yap is considered one of the most popular directors in the country today.
He rose to stardom when he launched the Facebook page, Vincentiments, which he created together with his colleague and friend Vincent Asis.
The Facebook page boomed and currently has over 5 million followers.
He is behind the hit movies and independent films such as #Jowable, Tililing and to name a few.
He’s also one of the staunch supporters of President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr., and Vice President Sara Duterte-Carpio.
His latest project is the controversial film, Maid in Malacañang, a movie about the last 72 hours of the Marcos family in the Palace.
Recently, he went to the social networking site, Facebook wherein he reminded the netizens that he’s part of the LGBT community.
Darryl Yap was reacting to allegedly fake posts of “toxic pinks” that he’s a “pedo”, “groomer”, “misogynist”, and “enabler”.
Here’s the statement of Darryl Yap:
“galit na galit yung mga toxic pinks sa posts ko,
di ba kayo nagsasawa sa mga gawa-gawa nyong
“pedo”, “groomer”, “misogynist”, “enabler” drama nyo; ni hindi nyo nga alam na bading ako. hahaha! andami nyong pwedeng maramdaman maliban sa galit, pwedeng stroke, aneurysm, cardiac arrest,
andami guys, wag paulit-ulit— di maganda yung talunan na boring pa.”
