Herlene Budol was criticized by Cristy Fermin
HERLENE BUDOL – The entertainment host and showbiz columnist Cristy Fermin slammed the comedienne-turned-beauty queen by calling her “walang utang na loob.”
Known as “Hipon Girl”, Herlene rose to fame when she joined Wowowin’s segment called Willie of Fortune.
Willie Revillame, later on, decided to make her a regular host of his show because of her talent and funny jokes.
Aside from hosting, she also ventured into acting and later on vlogging. Currently, she has over 2 million subscribers on YouTube via her channel “Herlene Hipon.”
In 2020, she made headlines following her exchange of words with Miss Universe Manila Alexandra Abdon. Eventually, they were able to settle their rift.
She also ventured into pageantry. In fact, she won as first-runner up during Binibining Pilipinas 2022, bagging seven special awards. She’s currently gearing up after being appointed as Miss Planet Philippines 2022.
Meanwhile, Herlene was criticized by Cristy Fermin after allegedly choosing to sign a contract with GMA-7 instead of All TV.
In her program, Fermin said it seemed that Herlene has “walang utang na loob” after she chose not to be with Willie Revillame, who’s behind her popularity.
“Anong nangyari kay Hipon Girl? Anong nangyari? Nakipag-meeting kay Willie Revillame para sa All TV sa AMBS 2 tapos kinabukasan, pumirma sa GMA 7?” she asked.
“Ano ang naiwan ngayon sa isip ng marami? ‘Walang utang na loob itong si Hipon Girl.’ Diba?” she added.
