Meet the nephew of Rico Yan who is said to have a resemblance with the late actor
RICO YAN – Netizens noticed the uncanny resemblance between the late actor and his nephew.
Rico Yan is considered one of the most prized actors from 1995 to early 2000.
He rose to fame when he starred in the movie, Got 2 Believe alongside his onscreen and real-life partner Claudine Barretto.
Aside from that, he also appeared in the television series; Gimik, Mara Clara, Mula Sa Puso, and Esperanza.
But in 2002, he broke the hearts of his fans following his sudden demise.
He passed away at the Dos Palmas Resort in Puerto Princesa, Palawan after suffering from cardiac arrest due to acute hemorrhagic pancreatitis.
Two decades after his untimely death, his memories continue to live.
Some of his fans couldn’t help but notice his uncanny resemblance with his nephew named Alfonso “Alfy” Yan-Tueres.
According to the entertainment website, Push, Alfy is the son of Rico’s sister Geraldine.
Some fans have been calling Alfy “Little Rico Yan” while others tag him as the “mini-me” version of the late heartthrob.
A netizen even said that she feels like Alfy is the reincarnation of the late matinee idol.
“Parang nabuhay uli si rico yan .. kamukhang kamuka mo tlaga sya,” the fan wrote.
Meanwhile, some fans are looking forward for Alfy to entering showbiz and following in the footsteps of his uncle.
“Pasok na sa showbiz Alfy at sundan mo ang yapak ni Tito Rico Yan mo,” said the fan.
