The 22-year-old graduating student taking up B.S. Criminology has been making a buzz in the past few days after she went missing upon entering Robinsons Place Puerto Princesa City in Palawan.

CCTV footage was released showing the victim entering the mall. However, the establishment failed to show a copy of the CCTV footage of the young woman leaving the mall despite the fact the entrance and exit points of the mall have operational surveillance cameras.

The Local Government of Puerto Princesa coordinated with the management of the Robinsons Mall in order to locate the victim. Apparently, the mall has yet to present footage showing her leaving the premises of the building.

On the other hand, Robinsons Mall claimed that they have nothing to hide regarding the matter.

UPDATE: Remains of Jovelyn Galleno Finally Found

Meanwhile, the sister of the missing young lady has a plea to content creators.

In a radio interview, Jocelyn Galleno, the other sister of Jovelyn, pleads to those who are taking advantage of the issue to earn money.

“Nawawala na nga ang ate ko, pinagkakakitaan pa nila kami,” she said. “Personally, kailangan din namin ng pera pero hindi namin ginawang content, hindi namin pinagkakitaan ‘yung pagkawala ng ate ko.”

“Kaya sana tigilan na po kasi para sa amin ang sakit sakit,” she added.

At one point, she cited the fake TikTok page created bearing the name of her missing sister.

She also refuted the reports surfacing on social media that they have already found her sister.

“Kung nakita na namin si ate or nakipagtanan siya ay ipaglalantaran namin sa lahat ng tao,” she said.

Meanwhile, the authorities are still investigating the case of Jovelyn.
