Here’s how the career of John Prats was affected after his breakup with Heart Evangelista
JOHN PRATS – The actor-director recalled how his breakup with Heart Evangelista affected his career.
In an interview with Bianca Gonzalez “Trust the Process” vlog series, John Prats shared that was popular back then because of his group called JCS with Carlo Aquino, and Stefano Mori until his breakup with Heart.
“Nung nag-start yung G-Mik, doon ko na naramdaman yung fame, ang sarap kasi ng feeling,” he said.
At the time, the producer always has a problem with how to get them on stage when there are out-of-town shows as well as how to get them off the stage after the show.
That’s why they have decoys who wear the same clothes as them on stage to mislead the fans who flock to them.
There came a problem when he got paired with Heart Evangelista in several projects until they became a real-life couple.
But their relationship did not last long when they broke up after one year of dating.
“I felt na bumagsak na yung career ko nung naghiwalay kami ni Heart,” he recalled.
At the time, his only show was ASAP.
“Yun lang yung show ko before na sobrang liit na ng [talent fee] ko, once a week lang ako nakikita at nagtratrabaho,” he said.
He was able to overcome those times after returning to his first love- dancing- where he was given a second chance.

Eventually, he became part of FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano since it started airing until it ended last Friday, August 12 after seven (7) years.
