Juday is considered one of the favorite actresses of all time.

Because of her acting prowess, she has received various awards and accolades through the years such as a Cairo International Film Festival Award, a Gawad Urian, two Luna Awards, two Metro Manila Film Festival Awards, and three FAMAS Awards.

Her showbiz career started when she was only ten years old when she became the lead star of the children’s television series Ula, Ang Batang Gubat in 1988.

Her career skyrocketed when she became part of the soap opera Mara Clara along with Gladys Reyes as well as Esperanza (1998), Sa Puso Ko Iingatan Ka (2001), and Basta’t Kasama Kita (2003).

Aside from being an actress, she also ventured into becoming a chef and restaurateur.

It was in 2015 when she wrote a cookbook called Judy Ann’s Kitchen, which won a Gourmand International’s Cookbook Award for Best Authors and Chefs Outside Europe.

Meanwhile, Judy Ann Santos received another “banat” from former MasterChef contestant Pebbles Cunanan.

In a Facebook post, Cunanan offered Juday how she can cook onion soup and onion rings using other varieties of onion and not just only the pricey white onion.

“Sayang naman yung tuition mo sa culinary hindi mo ma-apply ng maayos yung pinag-aralan mo sa sobrang sama ng loob mo sa presyo ng sibuyas. MEMA lang talaga haisssst….paano naging judge ng Masterchef toh?,” she said.

“Tabehhh….hindi siya mabubuhay ng walang sibuyas…kaloka, wag masyadong masibuyas ghorl lumalabas sa pawis at kili-kili ang sibuyas,” she added.

This is not the first time Pebbles Cunanan, a former MasterChef contestant criticized Judy Ann Santos.
