Rowena Guanzon shared a post about Robin Padilla
Former Commission on Elections (Comelec) Commissioner Rowena Guanzon has this “hamon” to Senator Robin Padilla.
The “issue” between Guanzon and Padilla started during the election season. Back in February, Padilla, as one of the senatorial aspirants, answered questions about social and political issues.
The action star was asked about the supposed “extra judicial killings” that occurred due to former President Rodrigo Duterte’s “war on drugs.” Robin Padilla defended PRRD and this did not sit well with Rowena Guanzon, who is now a Representative of the P3PWD Party List. She said that because of that statement of Padilla, she will not vote for him.
From that, social media word war happened between them. The actor-turned-politician said that he is not asking for Guanzon’s vote. He even said that Guanzon might be an “abog*go” and not “abugado” or lawyer. Following that, the former Comelec Commissioner slammed Padilla and said that he has a “low IQ.”
Just recently, Rep. Rowena Guanzon once again mentioned Sen. Robin Padilla in her Twitter post. She said that people would say that the neophyte lawmaker is kinder than his nephew actor Daniel Padilla. The Supreme Idol is the son of Rommel Padilla with Karla Estrada.
With this, Guanzon had a “hamon” to the lawmaker to show how kind he is and if he will accomplish this, they will become friends. “Mas mabait pa daw si Senator Robinhood kaysa kay Daniel P. Sige nga senator, donate kayo ng mga wheelchairs at equipment sa Phil. Children’s Medical Center Rehab Dept. Friends na tayo,” she said.
This post of the party list representative received this comment from a netizen. “Pano mag dodonate yun, asawa nga nya nagonline selling na pang kampanya nya e,” Twitter user @oz_ladyhihi commented. It is known to many that former Pinoy Big Brother host Mariel Padilla, the wife of Robin Padilla, is doing online selling.
